April 18th

Another day, more riding.....

We started in Auburn with Creative Sewing Center.  A typical shoping mall environment.  This was one of the quickest stops on the entire shop hop.

Quiltessentials is a partial favorite, It is a house with many rooms filled with many different goodies!

Mystic Maine Quilts is a local quilt shop in Gardiner.  Right on the downtown parking strip!

Whipper Snappers is right in downtown Hallowell.  Another close local shop that we can visit at any time.

And we finished off the day with Yardgoods.  This shop is filled with not only quilt shop but lots of yarn and other goodies also.

April 15th

On this day we got to enjoy waking up at camp and starting our journey from there!  We left camp, mom, Carol and I to head to Rangley to meet up with Gram and Gramp.

We started at Threads Galore where we always enjoy visiting when we go up to camp.  We always enjoy a friendly "hello" from Carol and enjoy having the pleasure of setting out purses and bags down and setting off and enjoying be able to look around and enjoy ourselves.

We then rode down to Farmington where we stopped into Pins and Needles.  We browsed the shop just the four of us while she waited in the basement with the sewing class until we were ready to check out.

We then scooted over to Fabric Inn on the other side of Farmington.  This is a much smaller shop not so much my style.

We then took the trip to Madison/ Skowohegan where we visited a favorite of all, Fabric Garden.  The staff is always friendly and seem to know us by name.

We finished off at Pinwheels where I found some awesome fabric for Ryan.  Here we left and headed North back to camp as Gram and Gramp headed South to home.

Sunday April 10th!

We started out on another journey!!

After moving Friday night and a long trip with 9 shops on Saturday we decided that Sunday would be a short trip.

We went and visited our three "local" shops!

Country Creations, right in Jefferson itself!

Alewives Fabrics, in our neighboring town of Nobleboro, In the Mills.

And finished with Maine-ly sewing, also in Nobleboro.

A short sweet day only to be finished with a little more moving!

Bags.... (continued)

So I have shown you what my bag is going to look like to store all of my stuff in now to show off other bags.

Gram's bag.

She has been done it for a while and uses it all the time. She had been off and running so I didn't expect her to make a new bag as this bag will work just fine for her.

Day 1

Today is Day 1

It is day 1 of the official Maine Shop Hop.

Mom and I are very excited and just waiting for gram to get home so we can start our adventures.

We sat down and picked out "travel days". I have looked over and grouped them. Put them in the order we are going to visit them. And written down all other important info I will need.
