We had to back track a bit to finish the last couple because there were close on a Monday when we had done the other closer shops.
Very interesting twist to the challenge really including the Maine theme.

A challenge with a new perspective.
A Fat quarter
A goodie bag, filled with some thread, some scraps of fabric and other items. 
This shop is located in a women's garage more or less. But she is super friendly and I just love dropping by here if I am in the area.
Another very different challenge. With just being given the few fabrics that must be used it makes it so every shop really can do something different. 
She has fabrics laid out in such a great display. 
Ah, A love for GREEN!!!
I got this great fabric that I have since turned into a pillow case for Ryan.
And this one also, is yet another pillow case
And this fabric mom and I bought the end of the bolt but it is perfect for the back of both of our quilts we plan on making with our Shop Hop fat quarters. 
And more fabric we bought lots of that would also work well for the back!
This shop is always interesting. I never find much that interests me except they do have a lot of wildlife fabrics, and some flannel.

A different challenge.
This is a very small shop that has the mix of quilting and scrapbooking.
What a way to incorporate all things Maine into this challenge. 
And the owner couldn't wait to take a picture of the three generations doing the shop hop together in order to post it on her website and facebook page.
A simple yet, slightly crazy fat quarter.
This shop I believe expanded a bit. I don't remember there being long arm quilting here but now there is.

and my fat quarter. I just love all my fat quarters they look so beautiful together.
This shop I always enjoy going to. It isn't that they have an over abundance of fabric. 
Another shop that took a totally different approach to this challenge.
Ah, I just fall in love with fabric. And fat quarters are just the fix!
We also got this super cute coffee cup with the stitches information on it, some other goodies and of course chocolate!
This shop has a different take then I enjoy. This year I dreaded going to this shop because the year before there was a lack of anything that interested me.
The challege was very basic.
And a fat quarter. 
This was a new stop added this year. This was about 15 miles south of Houlton. It was out in the middle of no where but we got to see some beautiful views as we headed back toward the interstate. 
This shop added so much to their challenge.

By which I also bought the charm pack of the same line. 
This shop is way out in the middle of no where located in a women's house in the basement. It is a smaller shop but the women here is very friendly.
I do like the challenge. Every challenge we saw is different and allows a way to see how all the different fabrics can be used.
A Fat Quarter, like I don't have enough.
This is a closer to home shop although not one that I care so much for. 
The put at interesting spin on the challenge trying to make it like a flag.
