We started the shop hop off bright and early leaving gram's house at 8am.
The car was packed! We packed lunch and snacks in the cooler along with drinks. We set off for the south.
First quilt shop stop was Knight's Quilt Shop in Cape Neddick. We usually go to this shop on a Saturday and it always end up being a "Block of the Month" Saturday where they have 250 people in and out and it is so busy it is over whelming.
So the girls were looking forward to a week day at the shop!
They just couldn't wait to go in!
This is their challenge quilt.
After seeing this challenge quilt and the fabrics in it I actually got more excited about the shop hop. 2 years in a row we have done the shop hop and I have hated the fabrics which makes it really hard to get into.
One shop done.
Next stop....
Sanford Sewing Machines.
Another pretty challenge.
A "goodie bag". I always like a shop that gives out a "goodie bag", it makes me just wanted to spend a little more money than I would of and makes me want to like the shop that much more.
Mom, Gram and I chipped in on 10 fat quarters for 10 dollars, so we each got 3!
