The morning started bright and early with a meeting at gram's house. We then stopped by Windsor to pick up Kim.
From there we headed to Newport!
Stitches Fabric and Yarn, it opens early, and they are always friendly here.
An interesting challenge, with great colors!
Then back in the car and off to.....
A Straight Stitch! We beat them there and they were not open when we arrived. This store does not have a large selection of fabric but has a great size classroom.
A great Maine Challenge with the light house embroidered on the top left block.
And a goodie bag! We all know how much I enjoy getting "goodie bags" and seeing what is in them.
And back in the car again....
To the Cotton Cupboard in Bangor. They had a few good sales going on here!
Every challenge is just a bit different from one another but I enjoy looking at them all!
ah..... my love for goodie bags!
This one even had a free fat quarter and can you imagine what color I got,
That's right, Pink! You know Blue, green, yellow would have been a better sign since I am really hoping for a boy but all signs are pointing to a girl. I will take either one no matter what I get but I would preferably would like a boy!
Back to the car though for a bit longer of a ride this time.
To Bar Harbor!
A very wild challenge!
And a stop on our way back
in Trenton!
A challenge using a bit more color then just the mostly green, blue and brown we have seen everywhere else.
I even picked up a few goodies for myself here....
Some cute green and brown fabric that I can use to make a laminate bag for kids toys or whatever I wish!
It was a long day and we visited a few more shops but will continue on at a future time.
